DJI Neo the Self-Flying Drone! - 1 Month Later..

DJI Recently released their new entry level drone, the DJI Neo which is a self-controlled drone capable of shooting footage in 4k 30 fps or 1080p 60 fps, it has 1/2 inch image sensor with 12mp and it can be used either as a classic or FPV drone. This also makes it the perfect first step for people who's never tried flying a drone before.

"Small, light and easy to carry around" A profound statement. DJI has always been somewhat of a pain to get fired up, synced with satellites, connected with the controller, etc.

Other YouTubers have intentionally crashed this drone into trees at 30kph and brick walls with little or no damage until they have hit the wall multiple times. This is the perfect drone as mentioned to practice FPV, many say it's expensive once to add the FPV equipment which is true, but what they fail to mention is that why not buy an Avata 2 kit and the Neo on its own, practice with the Neo and after you feel confident switch to the Avata. 6 Neo is still useful as a selfie drone.

Hi. Do you need a license to fly your DJI NEO in EU?

I think it is good for the follow me, and direction tracking, for runners or cyclists. The other modes don't look good.
Other than that, I think a basic mini drone is better. You don't have to start with the mini 4 pro.
