I saw this movie after only seeing the poster. It said Rebecca Hall, had a red moon, a ghost, and it said Rated R. It was really nice to see a horror film like this again. Rebecca Hall is amazing in it feels mysterious the entire time. Even after seeing it.

I typically try to avoid these movies because it triggers some experiences from my childhood but I was watching something on TV in the background while working and I heard a line "Do you guys believe in ghosts?"

It kind of made me wonder how many people actually do and how many people think it's "fantasy" like a Unicorn..

I saw a lady when I was about 12 in the old town San Buenaventura in California.

I experienced it at my friends house with him and although we don't really have a friendship anymore, we still reminisce about it when we run into each other and still share our goosebumps 20 years later.

Cheers if anybody reads this. It actually helps to vent even if it's to nobody.

Ghost: hints it's presence in the house.
People in the horror movies: Let's ignore, and continue to stay in the house.

This film is really part of the original story for the Hellraiser reboot pitched two years ago that was rejected at the time. The irony of this is the fact that the Hellraiser relaunch is coming to Hulu in the near future. will be so epic.
Now, this film has some great write-ups and It will be available to watch today, just received a notification. We have been waiting!

Not a film to miss!

Bro I’m pissed
I usually sleep with background noise and this trailer came on in the middle of the night…traumatizing

I really enjoyed Beth in this movie, Rebecca Hall does an amazing job! I also liked Mel and her friend as supporting roles, they felt like really heartwarming characters.

This is how horror is done. Not the jump scares, stupid CGI that just takes you out of the movie. This looks genuinely unsettling and unnerving.

Such a great drama/mystery/thriller. Twists and turns, the right amount of scariness and thrilling parts. Whomever wrote this film is very creative.

It’s officially 1 year old!
I remember seeing this at movie tavern
They actually filmed this near Skaneateles lake right outside of auburn where I currently live so that was pretty cool since I used to live in Owasco in between the two villages
Rebecca Hall is really brilliant here in a very dark, moody ghost story relying on atmosphere and dread
They use a lot of cool trick-of-the-eye film techniques while also telling a woman’s struggle to move past her grief
A chilling meditation on loss and depression
Big on how to tell suicidal ideation

Audience consensus on Rotten Tomatoes says: The story's a bit slow and confusing, right up to an ending that will leave some disappointed -- but Rebecca Hall is terrific, and there are some truly tense and scary moments

This looks incredible. My only worry is the runtime. I hope it doesn't affect the pacing of the film as a whole. A lot of good films these days sometimes tend to overstay their welcome by an extra 10-15 minutes.

Rare to get a horror movie these days that introduces something fairly original and that actually manages to creep you out, brilliant !

Okay, seriously am i the only one getting deja vu? I swear over the years i have seen this movie at least 50 times! But with different movie titles and different producers, directors, actors/actresses. Call me insane but its the same movie! Redone over and over again.

I saw this movie going in blind, didn't watch any trailers so I didn't know what to expect. I figured it was just a drama about a crazy husband who murdered people but I was pleasantly surprised to see it went supernatural with ghosts/demons. Good movie, def not a big fan of horror so that says a lot. It's up there with the conjuring movies in terms of creepiness. Some scenes made my hair stand.
