FILIPINO PRIDE vs. THE WESTERN CRY BABY : Life In The Philippines

Today Lot and I went for a walk in downtown Angeles City. At one point I noticed everything came to a complete stop. After looking and listening, I noticed the Philippines National Anthem was playing. I was so impressed with the Filipino people and their respect they show for their National Anthem unlike the cry baby Westerners who want to protest when the USA National Anthem is being played.

They learn to respect the anthem from day one in school until the last day of the final year in school. Government employees every morning assemble for the morning anthem and flag raising. Here in the USA the cry babies have taken patriotism out of schools and local governments because it may offend a few snowflakes. I feel like you, I'm a veteran and i love my country and i still love patriotism and all the pomp and circumstance that goes along with it. God bless the United States of America.

Yes...you are so right !! about how Americans ( well not all ) are crybabies.

I work at a Coca-Cola Bottling company and I walked in the door with ZERO experience and the first year I was there I earned a little over $48, 000.00 ! That's entry level !

I sit in the break room and listen to workers that have been there for 15+ years whine, bitch, piss, moan, and complain about how we don't get paid enough. My jaw hit's the floor because I KNOW they are earning $60, 000.00+ a year along with a 401K plain where the company matches up to 8%. Health Care, Dental care, Vision

I cannot believe how they complain !

It is obvious to me that those that complain all the time have NO CLUE about places like the Philippines and the real struggle of the people that somehow manage to still smile, wave, and wish you good morning. They understand there is no point in complaining as it certainly does not change their situation or make their lives any better.

Awesome video. I love the Filipino Pride. I can remember on base at the movies they had the US National Anthem at the beginning and everyone was required to stand.

To see people still pay respect our country despite of unpleasant things happening with their own life or even as a nation means a lot to me.

Extended:
Especially when I see how tired people are, particularly those elders who carry their baskets from market alone, even my classmates who doesn't often give that much attention in assembly
Some people might think that it was just a flag raising or a weekly routine, but it made me a better person.
What a way to end the video, awesome content as always.

morning Brian & to see the people of Angeles City showing respect to the National rare here in Manila to see such patriotism coz of the more busy life but when i was in elementary school, late 70s early in the morning flag raising ceremony in the school, that was being practiced(includes the pledge of Allegiance & the New Society Martial Law March) where even the vehicles passing by our school stops took it for granted then but it seems so awesome now when i come to think of what our country is going thru now, with communist China trying to piss us off, we need this national pride to fuel the fire of for my long for that really inspiring walk

The beautiful kind and hospitable people of the Philippines are my favorite for sure. It is one heck of a good country and people. I am trying to cut down on cussing so I'll just say to the crybaby millionaires on their knees CUT the crap!! Be appreciative!! Hows that. Thanks to you and Lot Lot for the great video.

Looking forward to being there in August. For good this time. I always would stand and remove my hat for the national anthem out of respect. God bless the USA and the Philippines.

It is great to see national pride like that. Like you said, it is not the time to protest your own agendas when your national anthem is being played. The more you show of Angeles, the more I want to visit. Local tourism should promote your channel

I used to walk on that street everyday going to school a long time ago. It brings back memories, good to see. Nothing much has changed though. Rizal street is still is a very busy road with lots of sidewalk vendors on both sides. Thanks for the update I appreciate it. 👍 btw standing still while the flag ceremony is going on was taught in school at an early age and it's written in the constitution.

Wow, that's amazing to see that the people stopped during the National Anthem. I thought they only do that in America.

Good show and thanks. It's good to know Dr. Armando Garcia Hospital is still in business. My mom spent 2 wks there in 2010 before she passed away. It's an average facility by local standard but the staff were professional and caring. Thanks again.
