i was grabbed by the hair by one of my teachers in the 1st or 2nd grade. i had braids and they came undone. she grabbed me and pulled me out of the classroom and showed me projects of classmates and yelled that i had done nothing. i went back to the classroom and sat down. one of my classmates got up and re-braided my hair. every time i think about her i send her a prayer.

Hey everyone! :) I know it's been a long time, I've been working on some other stuff, but I'm back :)) Just to update you on what happened with the copyright complaint, they retracted it. My main objective was to have the strike retracted as soon as possible. Writing was taking too long, so I called them and basically said, "Look, I'll take down the video if you want, I just want you to remove the complaint because it's affecting my channel." So they did, and I removed the video. Then a few days ago, I got this email from them:

"Dear Malkhaz,
Because of your apologetic, conciliatory, and sincere communication, Dr. Robert Cialdini & INFLUENCE AT WORK (IAW), would like to reconsider the actions recently taken on your YouTube video. Dr. Cialdini is impressed with your insights and artistic eye and may even see an opportunity for us to work together on a new project.  With all this in mind, we would like to offer you the ability to post this video on your channel..."

So I might reupload the video at some point. The best part of the video in my opinion was explaining the common misconceptions around all the "free" content out there, and why it's actually not free. You always ask for little compliance first before asking for big compliance.

I must say, that you have explained the whole point of the book wrong. You didn't even talk about the idea of self-image, which is the most important part and what the book is about in the first place! Psycho Cybernetics isn't about just imaging stuff to get where you want. Yes, its one of the techniques, but its definitely not the whole point the book is trying to make.
I would definitly encourage people to check out the book itself, because this review misses out on the most important parts and leads in a wrong direction!

I had a similar experience. In 2nd grade my teacher called me stupid in front of the entire class. From then on I maintained the paradigm that “I am stupid” all through middle school and highschool. I eventually decided to change the paradigm in my subconscious and attempt university where I eventually got an MA and was accepted into the honors’ society all because I changed my paradigm. The idea of cybernetics really helped me to understand the forces at work and how to work with them.

1:37 As an adult, I can honestly say if I saw a teacher grab a kid by their hair (and they probably wouldn't even need to say anything at that point).... I'd go do the exact same thing to her dragging her out of her own classroom...

When I was in Kindergarten, I realized after 3 weeks I hated it, and told my my mom I didn't like it and never wanted to go back... she didn't question me, or tell me I had to go back because that's what everyone else does, or anything that.... she just picked up the phone, called the school, told them I wasn't coming back, and hung up the phone.

When I hear stories like this, first of all they make me cry... they also help me realize how lucky I really got for getting pulled out of that horrifying system, and they kinda make me feel obligated to help as many people as I can. That's the only reason why (as an introvert) I started teaching online as I didn't want to.... but for 3 years, I just felt called to, and finally gave in. (And I'm really thankful that I did.)

I've always loved your channel. Haven't seen any video's by you in a while, but maybe you're still making them and I've just gone down many other rabbit holes. Not sure... but I'm going to look to see if you're still making these.

Funny how people don't realize this. When you can see your goal your mind subconsciously works out the steps needed to achieve it. When you imagine or start to believe you will achieve that goal you start to live as you should to have that goal accomplished.

You didn't talk about the more important point that is "Self-image". But, that's Ok!! Because I think you just made over a million people aware of the fact that there is a book about "Psycho-Cybernetics" and it deals with the imagination, self-image, achievements and many more aspects of life in general. And that's a plus.
