Six years after a nuclear disaster hit the Fukushima plant in Japan, the first people to ever face a criminal court over the meltdown are now on trial. The three former executives of the plant have pleaded not guilty to charges of professional negligence. Christine Pirovolakis has the story.

There's not too much you can do about a nuclear meltdown, and there was little humen error.

Could it have been prevented??? IMHO, if alternative energy sources had been The spent fuel rods just by themselves will basically never go away and they continually accumulate which is a constant hazard and disaster waiting to happen.
