Thanks for comparing these. I know the oppo is technically because its a flagship and its better cameras but being in North America...i understand why someone would want to consider the OnePlus 13R.


Even though you can tweak the oppo, the oneplus 13R will work better out of the box with notifications. Gives a user more peace of mind especially if they dont want to worry about missing work calls or other important notifications

It's funny because I have essentially the same phones. It's just that I have the OnePlus 12 and the Find X7U 😅
And you're not wrong about the software being virtually identical. Honestly I'm hard pressed to find a difference. It seems like the X7U is just the OnePlus 12 on steroids. And of course the X7U is a Chinese rom so there's that. But honestly even though the OnePlus 12 is better suited to the US market, and I do like it a lot, if I had to choose one of them I would almost certainly pick the Find X7U because not only better cameras but also themes, wallpapers, and fonts. And while all of that is in Chinese it's not that difficult to make it work.

Oppo much better value.. I like the 13 R design my wife has it.. OPPO much better cameras and wireless charging... I got the Chinese version for my wife it was $400 ..Ace 5

Regarding charging speed information, only the Chinese ROM displays it. The global ROM does not show this—not due to the 13R lacking wireless charging, but because of software differences

Here in India oppo findx8 is 61K and oneplus 13r is 41K so oneplus wins

Oppo find x8 is way cheaper and better than Oneplus 13, so idk why you comparing it with a lesser version like Oneplus 13R. The telephoto in Oneplus 13 is just ai enhanced. I don't feel like it's good as Oppo
