Audi has launched its 2013 version of the Q5. Tavleen Mehendiratta goes over to explore, hold on, she explores it in and out. Don't miss this. The technologies covered are as follows:

1. Approach and Departure angle - On the Audi Q5, see how it is designed and engineered. The nose up front is sculptured such that you don't hit the nose against a 30-35 degrees steep hill. The departure angle is tested on descents, the Audi Q5 beautifully goes down hill, purely with hill descent control. No brakes are engaged during this.

2. The Electronic Differential Lock- Audi's EDL is put to test at various adversities on the terrain. As opposed to an open diff, the electronic diff lock is highly sophisticated and works on inputs from the ABS sensor installed on each wheel. It prevents the wheel from spinning and hence the car from getting stuck and remaining so.

3. Quattro System- The Quattro is not just a trademark to the Audi's Q series but has also trickled down to its sedans. An all time all wheel drive in its best form. There is no lever to shift from two wheel drive to four wheel drive, the comps are smart enough to understand terrains.

4. Torque Vector - Experience the sheer capability of the machine, it can even defy momentum. A demonstration of the system.
