Which is better? FLOSS or WATER FLOSSER?
Everyone knows what Floss is. But what is a Water Flosser?

A water flosser is a handheld device that sprays streams of water with steady pressure. The water, like floss, removes food from between your teeth.

Water flossers are effective at removing plaque, which can also help reduce gingivitis between your teeth.

Water flossers are great options for people who have trouble flossing by hand or who've had dental work that makes flossing difficult—like braces, or permanent or fixed bridges.

If you had to choose one over the other for better oral hygiene maintenance... click on the video to find out. :-)

Water flossing changed my life. No more bleeding during cleanings.

I would use water flossing more than regular flossing. Regular flossing is time consuming and hard to use on wisdom teeth.

I had a water flosser as a teen. That thing was big. I used to get cavities regularly. Dentist suggested it may be because I had deep teeth grooves. Not sure how accurate that was but I got a water flosser as a Christmas gift one year. Teeth always felt super clean. lol

Thanks for this tip Doctor. I have a last bit of gum left on my wisdom tooth. Water flossers helps me to clean any food particles stuck there. One question - Can we use water flosser once everyday?

I have been using string floss and water pik but the string floss is such a big hassel. But I still use it. I use flossing more then the water pik. You can't really get water stuck in between your teeth though. I know its not plauge or tarter because I just had a teeth cleaning. Going to get me some waxed dental floss.

I’ve been looking into water floss for ages now as I absolutely hate flossing. Whenever I floss, the string always gets stuck between the teeth and it really really hurts. I often cannot reach the back teeth as well and I end up spending a very very long time just trying to floss. However, my parents think water flossing products are usless and a waste of money, so even if I purchase one with my own money I would still get scolded. I still plan on getting one soon though, I really really need to floss without feeling like my teeth are being pulled out every time

As brushing too hard is harmful to your teeth, can water flossers exert too much pressure to the point where they harm the gums?

I use both. I use regular floss when there's a food that's really stuck

I have a small mouth, so it's hard for even dentists to reach my molars lol I can't reach the in-betweens there with just string floss. Would you say investing in a water flosser would work for me?
