I present to you: my all time favourite band (after Casey's latest video I realised there's no use in wating for Act VI before doing a medley, so here you go).
Due to obvious reasons, I couldn't fit in all my favourite songs. Dear The Fire: if you're out there, I still love you.

Please, PLEASE do more TDH medleys and/or covers. I’d like to hear you harmonize with yourself doing a song like “Melpomene”.

One of my favorite bands of all time. They don’t get the credit or recognition they deserve.

Quick little TL;DR story:

I had been listening the TDH since their first album. Act III had just come out and I had been listening to it non-stop. They had quickly become one of my favorite bands of all time.

Anyway, this girl, well call her “A”, I met on the set of some show or movie hit me up and told me she was in my town with her friend, well call her “B”, and invited me to hang out.

I meet up with them and I show them around the city. At some point, we’re in B’s car listening to music and I start looking through her iPod. I notice she had the band “Foxy Shazam” on it and I mentioned how she’s the first person I’d met who was into them. She replies that her brothers’ band tours with them. So I naturally ask who her brothers’ band is and A says “Have you ever heard of ‘The Dear Hunter’?”

I lost my shit at that point.

I say “Oh my God! They are like my favorite band right now! What instrument does he play?” A replies “They’re the lead singer and drummer.”
Embarrassingly, my only reply before fanboying our was “YOU’RE BROTHER IS CASEY CRESCENZO?!?!?! HOLY SHIT, IM MARRYING YOU!”

Anyway, that’s BASICALLY the story. I got her number and wore her down for a week until she caved and went on a date with me.
Not a great reason to try to date someone, in retrospect.

Whoa this was just recommended to me, , , im a pretty new dear hunter fan (listening for like a yr and a half) and im practically crying. They're so under rated, and this is sehr sehr gut!

I've watched this video at least 50 times in the past couple of months and the most brilliant part to me is mashup of Ouroboros and Waves. It fits together so perfectly.
