I’ll do this trip one day and follow in my father, grandfather and great grandfathers footsteps... my great grandfather served on the Olympic and I’ve got his discharge book with the captains signature... I will be taking that on the crossing after 100 years of it being ashore!

Sailed in November 2017 Southampton to New York. It was fabulous, luxurious, stylish, interesting, educational and great fun. Dress for the occasions and enjoy the experience. Would recommend. However, a word of caution, don't give your main credit card details on check in. Use a temporary credit card with a limited spend otherwise money will seep out of your account at such a pace. Caution advised with on board spending.

I’m booked on the Transatlantic crossing [Round-trip] + cruise around [and dock in] Norway. 21 days on the QM2! This will be my first voyage on QM2, and my first voyage on any ship. I can not wait.

My husband and I specifically chose Cunard [QM2] because it represents the art and prestige of an ocean voyage. Just saying, I'm going on a voyage on the Queen Mary 2, is so classy. The formal code harkens back to the days when travel was luxurious and not stressful.

It's my dream now to go to New York on her. But I'm afraid of flying back so I'd want to go back to UK on QM2. Do they allow this?

Oh, I would love to do that. I was just on your website and almost booked a trip, but didn't dare. lol. I'll try again tomorrow, of course only for 2023 or later, so I have time to save the money. :)
I wonder if it's sometimes scary though, to know that there is so much water underneath. :/
