99% men in the genre... yeah that's going to be a bit patriarchal. that said, lots of women do well and i don't know one single woman who hasn't thrived in jazz who has chops and talent. yes, the mindset should change, but jazz promotes greatness... female or male.

I love this! As a music lover, anything that helps the artists pubicly producing music for my greedy ears...THE BETTER!
Same goes for peoples musical choices not being tied to their racial profile. The fascist record labels and radio stations, kept the genres seperate.. It cost us all lots of great music and participation in all directions.
