One of the best builds i've seen so far! No matter the brand, so minimal and effective!

I love this video, it’s nice to see trouble going into The set up is great. Here are a few improvements I would make to the setup. Food for thought during its evolution.
*Sell that Viltrox adapter, get the Metabones T speed booster XL 0.64x ... you will not regret it!
*you can buy an articulating 15mm clamp to attach the battery/V plate to. This allows the batter to fold away from the screen during shooting and back up again for travel mode. Maybe use a slimmer design battery for hand held and reserve the chunky Swit for your shoulder rig.
*You may find the hood isn’t always useful indoors, I know it makes it look more solid in shape, ! The fact your SSD is stuck to it Eliminates versatility, maybe pop the SSD directly on the cage where the expensive usb lead is.
* Ditch the Velcro, you can either use discrete magnetic strips or more secure still use extra “S” cable ties that come with the tilta cage and find a new location for this.

All in all, very impressive video. Look forward to seeing more, I.e the shoulder rig, and remember these are only suggestions. There’s no right or wrong build, it’s all down to personal preference!

Bro, thank you for showing the cable routing! Too many channels just rig up all the hardware, and then snap their fingers and the cables are hooked up. Super helpful.

The monitor shade r is kinda useless since it is completely covered by the battery...

Thanks for the breakdown and great video! I pretty much followed your video and built the same rig. For people who are having questions about the back screen, I just simply used the Blackmagic app on my cellphone to control all the settings.

"next up we're going to add a lens onto the rig, just to make it a bit more balanced"

Can u recommend the best lens to use as a counterweight? ;(

Solid rig. However, that power switch on the v-mount plate seems like a disaster waiting to happen.

Hope you guys enjoyed the video! If you are based in and around London, I am hiring out my BMPCC 4K Kit - head to the BorrowFox link in the description to find out more.

Also, before anyone else comments on it, I've fixed the screen accessibility issue! I added a SmallRig Monitor Clamp and screwed this onto the rail mount, and then bolted the backplate of the V-Lock splitter cheeseboard onto the top of the monitor clamp. This allows me to tilt it back to access the screen, and also fold it forwards flat when the camera isn't mounted for easier and more compact storage.

More videos on their way, I've been blown away by the recent support!

The thing i more like from this set up is that you have not access to the screen for exposure control, white balance, change frame rate, HDMI output options and all the features of the camera. Another thing that i love is the v mount plate that comes with d-tap and usb output when he has a battery with the same ports .

Great video. Fantastic rig!
I have pretty much the same set up apart from, that I went for the Tilta F970 side handle to power the camera and Nano and I use a SmallHD Focus.
Thanks for doing this video.
