i want to do 3d origamis really bad but i dont got rectangle pieces.if i fold a square in half and cut the two pieces, are those 2 rectangle good enough?

I use 8.5 x 11 paper (US letter size) Im not sure if it will work to make pieces from it. (Like to make 32 pieces.. divide 8.5/4 and 11/8) thanks!

So like i probably wont get a response for this.. but does the size of the square have to be exact for these to work? I made boxes of similar size by folding snd cuttin printer paper, if i make a load of those will the 3D origami still work?

If your using printer paper, how do u get the little pieces?

Maybe it's also possible to use paper with the edge ratio 1x2.
Then the inneren corners go all the way to the immer corner.
Or 1x3 and skip the first fold in half.
