I completed the game today, it was this very weird feeling where you are holding sand as it slips out, you can feel the rock and foundation in the sand, but it just slips through your fingers as you try to grab onto it, it's a weird thing as I didn't grow up with these games I found them in the last 5 years and it's bittersweet knowing this company was once this great, but people professionally have moved on, it doesn't have the same writers and people willing to take that leap of faith into some darker and mature topics anymore. We were so close to greatness, yet it slipped right past us.

There is character conflict, but not enough to grasp and have real dialogue, there is tough choices, but they aren't as deep and impactful, there is the threads of dark choices that slip away, companions are so close to being great, the themes and changes could have gone incredibly far, but are just slipping past it's brutal. I'm left feeling empty hoping another RPG titan can come along and create amazing worlds and landscapes, create tough choices and not be afraid to hit darker subjects.

When all you have is your sexual identity you get the personality of a painted rock and lack the imagination to create a good storyline...

The fact they had to pull writers off another game to try and put out the dumpster fire we call veilguard and still fail is astonishing that how woke linear and un imaginative this game and its developers are....
