Remembering Pete Taylor: 2000 Insight Bowl vs. Pittsburgh

The date was Dec. 28, 2000 in Phoeniz, Ariz. It was the Insight Bowl vs. Pittsburgh. With eight victories, Iowa State was having a wonderful season. The perfect cap would be the first bowl win in school history. It was a tight game, but early in the fourth quarter, Iowa State finally got some breathing room thanks to a breathtaking play from freshman Ja'Maine Billups.
