Why is viewing angle still a thing people worry about? I ONLY ever view my monitor at exactly 90 degrees.

Koorui is actually the inhouse brand of HKC, one of the panel manufacturer in China. They're actually quite popular here in Indonesia for selling one of the best budget monitor, 24" 1080p 165hz for ~100 USD.

I bought a cheap Koorui 27inch 1440p IPS with 75Hz for under 200€.

It has no HDR mode/dimming zones but even the 75Hz feels smooth enough for daily web browsing and some occasional gaming.

What isn't great tough is the color accuracy/ color bandwith. I have used 4k colargraded Dell IPS HDR monitors, but they cost way more (6x)

So if you have a tight budget these Koorui ones are the best option in their price category. If you don't have a more expensive monitor next to it you won't notice it's shortcomings.

THE BRAND NAME DOES NOT MATTER, its the same panel as any other brand of display, thats why they are all the same spec. You only get warranty covereage from the brand and some basic settings that nost people are unlikely to change on their monitor. I have very rarely needed to return something based on warranty. Even then, the things I do have to return are big brand items.

Didn't Acer sell a 4K 144hz monitor with local dimming for like $500? I believe the 1440p model would be under $400 as well

I’m actually in the market for a new monitor.. if the reviews are decent enough I *might* have to snag one.

If it’s color accurate, I don’t need much of a viewing angle for my use.
