Texas instituted voting standards after 2020. They got more conservative- not less. Maybe it will be liberal in the future, but not in the near future.

I live in Texas and you DO NEED A PHOTO ID to vote, so I can not imaging Texas turning BLUE anytime soon! we are Trump country!

I live in Oklahoma and I clean carpet, so I have interacted with dozens maybe hundreds of people moving here from fleeing blue states that are getting their carpet cleaned in their new (much more affordable) homes. And everyone of them have been Republicans that couldn't handle it any more and left. So no this is not going to happen, if anything the hard core states only got harder!

The data shows mostly conservatives have relocated from Cali to Texas in the last 3-5 years. In the last general election in Texas it was more red than the previous presidential election.
