A drug operation that stretched from Los Angeles to the Philadelphia region has been broken up, resulting in multiple arrests and the seizure of millions of dollars worth of drugs.

The district attorney's office in Montgomery County, Pa. announced the results of a year-long investigation on Tuesday.

The alleged leaders of the drug trafficking organization were identified as Tyrone Baker, 29, of East Lansdowne; Shakeem Johnson, 27, of Philadelphia; Joshua Quiles, 31, of King of Prussia; Jhamir Winans, 21, of Exton; and Ricky Evans, 28, of Los Angeles.

The suspects were arrested during a sweep on March 1.

We’re not mad at you for doing it, we’re just disappointed that you don’t call yourself a pharmaceutical company and pay taxes

How come no one ever stops the dealers in Kensington. They are literally on every corner selling out in the open. Lock up the pushers who cant afford bail and get them to dime on the suppliers. Ntm all the people using, stealing, prostituting..theres enough there to fill up the jail. But that means the DA would have to do something smh

As they are released with no bond. And ordered to attend drug school. In order to receive probation in court.

The disconnect is interesting, getting dealers and guns off the street is a win. Nevertheless, the addicts will create a market for a different source and this will repeat and continue. America's growing thirst for narcotics despite the risk of death is the real issue.
