Sir, I had a question that if the load method doesn't access the database until we utilise it's object data, then how does the load method identifies whether a primary key value exist in the database or not?

Hi, i guess i can use load if i want to save an object like student which needs a reference to a laptop object and i don't want to do an unnecessary loading of the laptop object, i then can get an laptop object with the load method. I could probably also create a new Laptop object, set the id and add it to my student object.

why do we need proxy object at all, apart from efficiency of hitting the database.

When we give not exciting ID to load method, it throwing exception. Does it mean it's hitting database no ?. if not How it's knows exceptions without hitting database ??
