Hey I have a question. So these script able objects are only good for static data right? If I have randomly generated items, I won't use this. I'd rather use a class that gets randomly populated? My understanding is that the data in script able objects are static once the game is built.

How do you get the save window for a scriptable object, to appear?! Problem is the scriptable object data in assets gets lost after restarting Unity leaving behind just empty dummy assets.
