St. George will no longer host the Ironman after 2025

The Ironman triathlon is set to be hosted in St. George for the last time in 2025.

The mayor sounds like she doesn't want it. She will probably take the marathon away next. Blasaa.Hope the next major will bring it back. I wanted that triathlon to be my first, now it won't.

St. George is like Orange County with crappy weather. Iron Man, competitions, century, bike rides, marathons, and half marathons used to be great there, but it’s just too packed with people now.

Pro Triathletes aren’t rich. They travel on the cheap and eat so much its not affordable to do it too often. Unfortunately it’s not like an annual NFL game

Athletes are also less likely to come to the US now.
