DSI Prophet 08 EDITED Patches

Just a short sample of sounds/patches coming form my great DSI prophet 08. No external FX source was used in this video demo.

Cool! Just made a similar sound on my Tetra. I did notice that when you route the Res to an LFO, at least on the Tetra, it introduces a low rumbling noise (here I wish the Tetra included a High-pass filter). I ended up creating a similar effect by routing the Frequency of the Low Pass to a square wave with some slower oscillations, also in the filter frequency, to give it motion. It makes a stepped sort of sparkle.

Sounds like an LFO set to Sample & Hold (Random) modulating the filter. You can see the Sequencer button is not active for this patch, also you would see the yellow sequence lights if the sequencer were on.

Sure. i'll keep ya in mind in the near future when i have a chance to play around with the editing software which saves all my patches that i edited and created from scratch.

I believe It's LFO routing. If my memory is correct. If you look closely at the video were the LFO set-up button # (4) is located, You can see the LED light pulsating in time with the sound...I used more resonance and less filter to make the sound. It does sound like i activated the Sequencer. This tell me one thing!... This Synth has Crazy routing capabilities. Anyway, Thanks for stopping by my channel.
