Aki is as "Unconventional" as she seems, gameplay wise I mean. Luckily with these bnb combos hanging with big boys in terms of damage out. Where she really shines is her setplay so after you get the combos down in this guide pay special attention to what to do after the enemy wakes up. Perhaps I have said to much! ST= while standing
CR = while crouching
LP MP HP = light medium heavy punch
LK MK HK = light medium heavy kick
QCF = Quarter-Circle Forward = ⬇↘➡ = 236
QCB = Quarter-Circle Back = ⬇↙⬅ = 214
DP = Dragon Punch Motion = ➡⬇↘ = 623
[X] = Hold until attack activates
DL = Delayed Press
CH = Counter Hit
PC = Punish Counter
DR = Drive Rush
(X2) = Motion Repeated Twice
~ = Not a link or a special cancel just press the next button
TB = Toxic Blossom (Poison is already applied)

Terms Used
Meaty: an attack that hits an opponent on the very first frame possible after they rise from a knockdown
Safejump: A very well-timed jump attack on a character who is rising from a knockdown. Your goal is to attack extremely close to when you land so that, if the character performs an invincible reversal attack, you will land and be able to block.
hitconfirm: Performing an attack, seeing that your attack successfully hit, and then reacting to this information by continuing the combo.

Midscreen Jump in Combo - 2916

Jab combo - 1226
*same thing works with standing light punch target combo
- When you do the cross-up delay the D+HP in the air or it wont hit

Jump in combo near corner - 3035

Air to air toxic blossom combo - 2544

Whiff punish Counter F+HP TB combo - 4339

Wall splat safe jump combo - 1987+
*works even if they are simply wall crushed (they block drive impact)

Meterless damage wall splat combo - 2310
*works even if they are simply wall crushed (they block drive impact)

Toxic blossom wall splat super combo - 3329+
*works even if they are simply wall crushed (they block drive impact)

Low crush F+HK - 2717+

Drive rush low combo - 2651

Drive rush low Toxic blossom combo - 2648

Drive Rush Overhead combo - 2711

Corner Drive Rush Overhead into super - 3838+

Jab punish counter combo - 2411
- Sliding out of corner after qcb+HP is Safe! its only -3 once the side switch is complete

PC Heel strike Combo - 2591

MidScreen PC DI Toxic Blossom Combo - 2837

I appreciate the combo class as always. I'm looking forward to trying her out, I wasn't vibing with any of the launch roster but Aki seems cool to me.

it seems the wall splat safe jump doesnt work against 5 frame dps?
