Fraulein Rahm claims to have had 18 children. If so, she should be wearing the German Mother's Cross (Mutterkreuze), First Class medal, awarded to women with eight or more children. Also, she wouldn't be in uniform, as German mothers were encouraged to be full time housewives. More than an error, she is obviously lying, as the director wanted to portray the desperation of the Nazis to keep control over the population.

Captain K and Finkel are what happens when your customizable character shows up in an in-game cutscene...

I love that shot of Sam Rockwell in a glorious cape so much.

I’m not gonna lie, seeing Captain K in his custom uniform made me cry.

It's hard to pick a favorite scene in a movie that so deftly blends sheer gut-busting comedy with very real human drama, but the moment when Captain K storms into battle - his muse triumphant behind him - and raises his eyebrows at JoJo as if to say "pretty great, huh kid?" is just beautiful. Just goddamn fucking beautiful.

The callback to the “German Shepherds” misunderstanding from earlier always makes me chuckle.

I love the little eye-brow waggle Captain K gives Jojo when he sees him - like he spotted him during a parade and is pumped he got to show off his uniform. Even in the most horrific of circumstances, the guy never wanted Jojo to feel afraid or sad.

In this scene you will realize that captain k was shooting into the air and not directly into the allies
Showing that he was fed up with the war and did not want to kill the people responsible for ending it

this scene always make me tear up cause it's just so horrible how they sent these little kids into war. they actully did that in ww2

What's really disturbing is the fact that K and his subordinate know the city is doomed and yet fight on pointlessly just for fun.

I consider this moment to be the Reality-Hit to our boy Jojo, who as for a boy of his age that was constantly thinking about war and how they should triumph just like the other kids of the youth... Where he realizes that, maybe fighting for your country isn't as brightful.

Unfun fact: The Hitler Youth child soldiers were real and a huge problem for the allied troops - kids, but brainwashed for years on how great they were, how bad everyone else was and how great dying in battle is, with real weapons. Many Allied troops who that approached them with a “let me help you kid” attitude got killed for doing so, and others felt terrible for firing back when their tanks were ambushed, only to find out later they were barely teens.

The absurdity of war, watching as untrained literal children go to battle, the elderly and infirm and then to top it off with the costumed Captain K and Finkel. Wonderful and heartbreaking all at once.

Captain K knew he was probably going to die, so by God, he decided he was going to die wearing the coolest uniform in existence.

Such a beautiful scene and climax to the whole movie. So many war movies that are set in World War Two depict the American view of the war showing the American characters journeying through the hollow and desperate towns at the war's end. But this film showed us the other side of it all, JoJo's belief and "fanaticism" broke down throughout the movie as he got closer to Elsa, but in the end, he's just a kid. And this is such an amazing and tragic climax to it all as his entire world comes crashing down around him. You have to see the film in order to get all the references and things weaved into this one nightmarish montage, and you can't help but tear up a bit.

It’s kinda crazy how Captain K is one of if not the best recent addition of an LGBT character to a movie. It doesn’t feel slightly forced and is completely passed as a natural thing + it ACTUALLY SERVED THE PLOT/ The character
