I think a long fall trap with hoppers at the bottom would be better

I spent a while making this to realise the texture pack I was using made the button a completely different shade of grey to the stone

I like the painting trap. I remember I used to play multiplayer MCPE with my siblings, and back then I’d use paintings in front of doors, which were very hard to create, you had to place them on blocks, and then rapidly break the blocks and replace the door before the game realised the blocks were broken. Before pistons, this was the only way of having secret doors. And it always stopped mobs! I loved them, and actually used them for Easter Egg cake rooms on a custom map I made once. Unfortunately they got fixed, but you can do them again now, just much easier.
