The SEC On CBS theme music is no more as media rights deals have changed the landscape. College Football season is finally here, and with it we'll have SEC On ABC theme music which was unveiled Thursday. On Late Kick Live Ep 547 Josh Pate took a listen and shared his immediate thoughts. it’ll never be the same as the SEC on CBS, the camera shots the audio, the simplicity and no cut ins for ads on split screen like ESPN has all the time. i know everyone complains about Gary Danielson but now you have to hope on pray Kirk and Chris take care of the 2:30 kickoff game

Sec deserve a better introduction theme music

Josh, that's one of the best description ever. This theme was usee from 1993 to 1997 on ESPN s college football broadcast. It was redone three times although keeping the same chord structure

The SEC got an updated ESPN College Football Night Game theme music from the 1990s.

It sounds like the intro theme to a 70s/80s action show. You could replace this with The A-team intro theme and almost nobody would notice

I not sure why ABC didn’t bring back college football theme music from 1997 to 2005 seasons. That theme music made football games feel more epic.
