Dang man, too bad that collaboration never took place. Pretty dope that u are into all my fav bands other than tool such as opeth and PT and meshuggah. I’m sure you’ve listened to intronaut, right or are at least privy to them?? They’re fantastic musicians! I think I have mentioned this to u before on a different post but gonna tell u again….you need to listen to KOLM, tyler. These guys are the best tool sounding band I have heard. They are better than karnivool, lucid planet, rishloo, wheel, leprous, soen (these guys were my fav tool sounding band till I heard kolm, and they have Martin Lopez who was drummer in opeth before axe was).
Anywho, if u haven’t checked em out or haven’t heard of them then u need to man cuz damn they’re sooo fantastic. It’s only 3 dudes and have only one album, “umbra”, which debut 2018 and there’s new album out any month now in fall. Cheers
