The Unforgiven ft. Raging Fyah | Lyrics

(Hook)
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be
Never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt
What I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free
Never me
So I dub thee unforgiven

(1st Verse )

Inna the streets busy life is a chapper
While you at you work you affi stay on the upper
Those who disagreed choose the way of a Dapper
Those who blend right in choose the book and the laptop
Who have hears to hear listen to what mama said
Sit down Inna church and be quiet and pray
You taking on the wrong pledge
your life not granted
So your story echoes in my head

(2nd verse )
This is the story of a man I used to know
He never listen to his dad an mama words
He found shelter inna wrong place
Friends with a screw face
Then Killed by their wrong ways
justice no kind
it's vision blind
Forward with the sentence
No judge can't rewind
Rest indeed yoooh
Rest in peace bro
Rest in me

(3rd verse )
there's still place that once you called your own
Not a war zone not a funeral home
Silent, no more music, no sound
Under the moonlight inna a Small town
Guiltiness rest on their shoulder
So for the wicked man
His days are numbered
Rest indeed
Rest In peace
Rest in me

This song will follow me to the grave. my gf gave birth to my son last year in june and he came 3, 5 months to early so we was in the hospital the whole summer not knowing if he would survive. This song was the first song he heard on low volume from my phone while i was holding him on my chest at the age of 2 months. it will forever be a special song to me.
Now my son is 14 months and has started in kindergarden <3

[Verse 1: Alborosie]
Inna the streets busy life is a chapper

Those who disagreed choose the way of a Dapper
Those who blend right in choose the book and the laptop
Who have hears to hear listen to what mama said
Sit down inna church and be quiet and pray

[Chorus: Raging Fyah]
What I've felt, what I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be, never see
Won't see what might have been
What I've felt, what I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never free, never me

[Verse 2: Alborosie]

Not a war zone not a funeral home
Silent, no more music, no sound
Under the moonlight inna a Small town
Guiltiness rest on their shoulder
So for the wicked man, his days are numbered
Rest indeed, yeah
Rest in me

[Outro: Raging Fyah]
What I've felt, I've known
Never free, never me
What I've felt, what I've known
Never shined through in what I've shown
Never be, never see
Won't see what might have been

It's not easy to cover a Masterpiece as The Unforgiven. Not just in a rock cover but obviously turned in a Reggae Version.
Great Job.

Great cover, I love how you mixed in your own lyrics. The reggae beat fits SO well with this song, I've listened to it on repeat many times now. The two types of vocals are perfect. I'd love to listen to an album like this.

Se me saltan las lagrimas cuando escucho esta cancion cantada justo antes de que empezara todo... todos somos esos niños en manos de oscuras sombras que quieren cambiar el mundo, gracias y bendiciones de aquel chico del One love, One Muaythai. Jah Live.

I can't believe it... I've been listening to more Metallica songs since the beginning of summer, and lately I've listened a pair of Alborosie songs. And this is what I get today!

Different... But very excellent. That's coming from a Metallica fan who also loves reggae.

Why is this the first time I’m hearing about an Alborosie Metalica cover 🤯 some of the first artists in their respective genres that opened me up to these genres. Absolutely did the original justice
