“This, This and This!" it's use interchangeably throughout the book one smut scene, one memories, one fun, etc. 😊

Dude the song of achilles is so good, it doesn't even feel like your reading it is so cinematic and well written and I can easily say it is one of the best books i've ever read

I added this book to my TBR on behalf of another recommendation. I've always been fascinated by Greek mythology but I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this book. I read a lot of books each year but it has been YEARS since I have come upon a page turner like this. Not only can I not stop reading this book but I cannot stop thinking about it. I NEED Miller to write this book again from Achilles' point of view because I really want to know what's going on inside his head. What is he thinking the whole time. I'm only 30% in and this book is doing things to me no book has ever done. Words cannot describe.

“I am going to be the first swear it.
Why me?
Because you’re the reason.”

Spoiler! (Might be)

The quote that killed me was a couple dialogue lines at the end of the book

“I hope that Hector kills you”
“Do you think I do not hope the same?”

It’s so simply worded, but from that point on I wept like a baby for the rest of the pages

“I would know him blind, I would know him by the way his feet hit the ground and the sound of his breath. I would know him in death.” Or whatever it was I didn’t memorize it but still one of my favorites. also this was literally her first novel and she made Shakespeare look amateur

I have a love-hate relationship with this book. On one hand, it's a sweet romance with plenty of great moments, but on the other hand, why must I feel such heartache? I gotta find the Achilles to my Patroclus.

"I'm going to be the first. Swear it"
"Why me?"
"Because you're the reason. Swear it"
"I swear"
If only it were true

'This this and this'

Ifinished this book a day after it arrived, been waiting to read it for month, it was my inly motivation to geth through the iliad and it was amazing, less emotional and sad than i hoped and was promised, though i think that was because i knew what to expect and am also more used to scenes that drag on, every detail of hand placement being mentioned and every though written down, so their deaths were a bit bland for me, but my god was this a good book
