After seeing the mess of his parent's marriage and divorce, he was often the confidant of his mother and would see the awful fall out of her being upset I would think it highly unlikely he would put his marriage on a limb by having an affair, it is why he took so long to get married and waited to make sure Catherine would be able to cope with the pressure of being in the constant spotlight.
The story should be put to rest and not constantly put on the fire just for likes - it concerns two people's lives and their children.

I only know the very basics about them, but I've seen so many clips of how he looks at his wife and its what I'd call love and friendship behind his eyes. Plus... after how his mother was so publicly humiliated and her pain on a stage for everyone to see, and how it ultimately lead to her death.... I really don't think he'd go there.

Funny how they still see Rose and her Husband. They are still very good friends. They know where the rumour came from, it didn't damage them as a couple, but it was unkind stress to put on someone carrying a child. There is no way on this earth that Catherine's sister, Pippa would ever call her daughter Rose, if there were any truth whatsoever in the salacious, nasty and jealous rumour.
