Putting Post It Notes Over Remaining Blank Passport Pages WORKS!!! 👏

I know it’s most peoples’ goal to fill your passport, but guess what’s not fun and slightly terrifying? Getting down to those last few pages! (Yes I know, my #travelprivilege is high)

This is because some countries require AT LEAST 3 or more blank pages to enter, and while you may think you can simply get an emergency passport at an embassy abroad…well, you can, but it can only be used to get yourself back home (I’ve seen this twice with my Travel Tribe)

Unfortunately many imm officers like to stamp in the middle of pages or take new pages instead of finding blank spaces on existing stamped pages, and if you’re not shy, you can politely point out a page for them, but these notes worked way better, and I even got a few impressed giggles!

Just be sure to check in advance that the countries you’re going to don’t use full page sticker visas like most of Africa, and that the sticky stuff from the note or tape doesn’t leave any residue — the officer in Mexico actually wouldn’t stamp my blank page bc it had the residue (they can get in trouble for using damaged pages)

Now I have 2 blank pages left and am in Mexico where you can only get a renewal by mail, and I need to get to Argentina to go to Antarctica in exactly one month….this will be my most stressful airport check in ever. Wish me luck!!
