My friends, as a Colorado resident and native I’m telling you fires are a natural part of life.

In fact, putting out wildfires will only force that same area to erupt again not to long after. Instead of putting these fires out over and over again and spending millions on recourses, let’s not build houses in places that are notorious for fires.

The fire won’t stop for you, and it’s great for the environment that these fires happen.

I'm in southwest Denver and it sounds like a tanker plane just flew over. Hope it helps get this under control. The wind is calm but it's a different story for Boulder. Seems like they are always windy.

This isn't exceptional, this is normal. We've had nearly 75" of snow in Boulder since Jan 1 alone. It was just a dry day, ~15% humidity, and that's all it takes for a few days to dry the veg out. Normal things happening in normal places, we humans just happen to be here as well.
