It's strange how my husband isn't particularly interested in Met Office forecasts, except when Honor is delivering them. Are snow warnings grounds for divorce? Lol

I travelled the four miles to school by bus in 1962-63 during "that winter". We never missed a day, even when the snow was piled 10 feet high at the side of the country roads.

We walked to school 63 did not miss a day 6 miles a day lived on the Somerset levels

I think someone needs to rethink how the map presents the weather - snow is shown as white, but with the white of the cloud cover already covering the land mass, it's quite difficult to see where the snow is.

So my forecast is its gonna snow on the oncoming front as it passes over most of Britain. Its then gonna rain at the back which will freeze everything to an icebox for Monday morning. Lovely. PS please do something about those colours first snow is yellow. Then orange and white. It used to be really easy once.
