Thanks for the excellent thoughts, George. The word serendipity comes from " The Three Princes of Serendip, " a marvelous read. Thomas Jefferson said that the harder he worked, the luckier he became. Focused creativity has a way of attracting good things, which struck me about the uniqueness of the first video I watched of yours and your continued imaginative creations.🔥🔥🔥

Totally agree with your analysis. It's like a conversation I'm having with a (looser) at work. He argues that investing in the stock market is gambling. I asked why and he said it's like rolling a dice as you never know the outcome. I tried to explain that it would be like rolling a dice if you randomly picked stocks but not if you did research (dyor) and spread the risk etc. He did not get it. So I said is crossing the road like gambling? As in you don't 100% know the outcome. He said no of course not. So I said correct that's because you have done the risk assessment and did not just run across with your eyes shut. He still did not get it. Shame really, I genuinely feel sorry for people like him....

I have to wonder if the luck of one person can be harmful to many others if left untethered? Why do we have so many people eating from food banks whilst an ever increasing portion of individuals who have had a run of " good luck" have extracted enormous amounts of liquidity out of the system. It can boil down to the question " how did we get here in the first place"? Could it be someone had a spot of " good luck " one fine day and caught the sickness of greed that destroyed allot of others?

Right time, right place was my stroke of luck.leaving school in '69 I had no idea what career i wanted to pursue. My self employed father, who banked with Nat West, asked his NWB manager if there were employing school leavers.Yes.
I had a succesful 30 years with NWB and in 2000, took a very generous early retirement package ahead of the RBS take over bid aged 48 and have not had to work since Had my father banked elsewhere I wouldn't be enjoying the lifestyle i am lucky to have to this day

One of your best yet. It’s great that you’re mixing in more philosophical stuff alongside the money focussed content.

And yes, without knowing the categories, all four types of luck have had a large bearing on my life.

Great video and so so true. I know at least 3 guys who have all been in the right place at the right time, for one moment in time, and it has transformed their lives and made them all multi-millionaires. Unfortunately, the guy in the mirror is not one of them!
