The 12100f takes less power than the 10100f and yet still gives higher performance. A really good cpu to use

9100F was a beast back then. This is just 1080p, I used to run games at 720p + kept the OBS recording in the background. Never did it lag for once.

The results of the i3-9100f show how far behind 4c/4t CPUs have fallen. The i5-6600k and 7600k at stock are going to produce a similar result since they're also 4c/4t Skylake class processors. Sure, the results will be a lot closer with a lower end GPU, but that would be the average not the 1% and 0.1% lows.
I feel sorry for anyone who built a system around Kaby Lake back in 2017 because the 7600k aged poorly and Intel really screwed those people by not offering Coffee Lake support for 100 and 200 series boards. Way to make people AMD fans, Intel.

i3 9th gen and 12th gen almost similar TDP but 12th gen double the fps 🙂
12th gen is really nice upgrade by Intel

4 threads CPU (quad core without HT) is not good for modern games. Just look how bad lows 1% on i3 9100F in some of the games

I wish i have more like this. Doesn't really helps buying but like a reminder how far we're moving.
FYI, i3 gen 8 is like 3-4 fps slower than gen 9. And gen 13 is like 2-3 fps faster than gen 12. If someone wants to connect to these generations.

Captain Obvious checking in with a question: at 1:19 I3 9100F is at 96 percent but 3080 is only at 58 percent, whereas i3 12100F is only at 63 percent yet 3080 is at 75 percent. So this means the i3 9100F is being bottlenecked?

I3 10100 is still good comparing the perfomance its an avg 20fps diff and the price diff is big as mother board is also required the latest in my country its about a 100$
