Yes - maybe it is inappropriate for him to share this on a public platform.. but it is invalidating and cruel to make fun of him or make minimizing commentary. A strangers mental crisis is not fair game for criticism and judgement & it is not an appropriate moment to share your feelings about said individual. This man needs help & he needs people in him life encouraging him to get help.
