THE RIDGE Wallet (After a year and 3 months of heavy use):

How do these wallets stand up and compare to others? Are knock offs on Amazon or Ebay better value? Let me know below. I have an Amazon knock off and it has stood up very well. Let me know what you think in the comments below. Do you know where these are manufactured? Bet you thought in the US. Think again.

Considering this for a gift? Do your research first.

This is why I got brushed titanium…..looks brand new after years. My wife got me an anodized blue ridge wallet as a present and after a year it has shown a bunch of wear. Before those I had a carbon one which was great until you drop it on a corner.

I bought a Ridge wallet that was painted like the one reviewed, and within a few weeks that happened. Waste of money! I bought their carbon fiber version and it looks exactly as it says on day one. No paint!!! Perfect

Ive Had the burnt titanium for about 2 years or so now and it’s still working perfectly. The cash strap is scratched up quite abit but in my opinion that just adds to the character. The ridge wallets are awesome.

I have several ridge wallets and my first one the forged carbon wallet I also used everyday for years. It was run over by NYC cab and still no problems.
The great thing is that their products have a lifetime guarantee and if the finish just fell apart on its own they will help. They have some of the best customer service people for any company. I had a problem with one of their pens and without asking they shipped me replacement cartridges.

You should get the stonewashed titanium. You wont have tonworry about the paint coming off.

I have the burnt titanium for 3-4 years now? Idk but it’s held up great. Tons Scratches here and there and still looks good. It’s been a great wallet 10/10! To give an example just imagine a really scratch up CD😂

I've owned 5 ridge wallets the od green was the worst. Fades and scuffs easy along with chipping / peeling. The original white ridge has been the best. The red scuffs easy and the base orange is legit.

You realize these have a lifetime guarantee right? You should contact them and see if they will send you a new one.
Aside from the paint failing do you like it?

Someone is being dishonest and artificially wore the finish. It’s either that or you got a defective anodize on the finish in which case Ridge will replace it with a new one.

They have a lifetime warranty. Idk if you’ve looked into it but I’d imagine they’d honor the flaking. Maybe they could offer a different version and/or maybe credit you towards another wallet design/material??

I have this in the same color. I only put my important cards in there which is 2-3 at most. Everything else I leave at home or in a different wallet. I don't have any issues.

Heavy usage or not metal is not porous.... this is why though the fancy colors look nice it is best not to purchase them as paint does not properly adhere to metal and it will just wear off in time... as metal eventually will patina the coding will also eventually start to come off...

This is why the best-selling versions of the ridge wallet are the typical black aluminum color and the basic titanium gray color... for reasonings I'm sure are well apparent
