As a life long (52 year) Yankee was great to watch!

The first base coach was so excited, he spit out his gum on Friedl — 0:29s.

The result was amazing but the bunt itself wasn’t textbook, it was straight to the pitcher. I don’t know how they scored it but that was an error on the throw, both times.

That’s so much more fun than a 2-run homer.

The Cincinnati Reds need to have the craziest moments in the basepaths.

The bunt wasn't even very good since it was back to the pitcher things just worked out perfectly

That was just a great, great play. And it does not matter who did it nor who it was against; just a great baseball play and the stuff that lives on long after the end of a season.

That's it? Based on the headline, I was expect the runner from 3rd to score on the suicide and then the runner from 2nd to score as the pitcher threw the ball to first. This is just scoring easily after an overthrow

Take that you Sabre Metrics geeks (most of whom never even played little league, let alone any higher levels of baseball). Bunts, hit and runs, stealing bases are all important parts of the game of baseball! If you execute these things properly, you aren’t giving up outs. You are manufacturing runs, putting runners in scoring positions and pressuring the defense to execute, which in this case the Red Sox did not do. That is baseball! I’ll take that any day over this big swing, big strikeout just about every player is giving us today.

Grew up during the glory days of the Big Red machine, would love to see them find their former glory.👍

Might want to set up the clip, so we don't think the umpires are running the bases

When you're pitcher thinks he's a shortstop. And fails! 😉

I remember watching this when I was younger.

Someone’s gotta explain to me why catchers always wait for a thrown ball out front of the plate. There was a play yesterday where a runner was coming home. A throw came from a fielder, perfect throw… but the catcher was five feet out. By the time he caught the ball and turned round to apply the tag, the Yankees runner had already slid in and scored. If the catcher were instead ON the plate or behind it, the ball would have arrived before the runner and been tagged out.😊

Booser should’ve bare-handed it with the left.

Saw a bunt in pee-wee that rolled past first base. It scored a couple of runs.

A bunt didn't score two, an error allowed two

Red Sox are the best to screw up a wet dream. Always have, always will! They're the only team who can take a 6 run lead in the top of the ninth and throw it away in the bottom of the ninth.
