He says this is a really a two seater. Me, wife, and our two kids aged 5 and 2 travelled from New York to Miami and back with this. We loved it. We sold it not because it was small, but because it had 150k miles on the clock and started having some oil issues.

I live in Florida and I own this car. Has a ton of features and it's the base komfort model.just updated the infotainment system and now it's on par with the executive minus the push button start. In my opinion it's definitely not a chick car, Unless driving with the top down so you can cruise the highway blasting your music at 100mph makes you a chick.

I've probably seen 3 of these since they came out. But i do like the sunroof/convertible feature

@Sofiyan, as far as I know VW did link the window up function to the ignition because usually with these metal roof convertibles (which are quite more common in Europe) they open and close the windows a bit every time you open and close the doors to allow a tight seal, and this has proven to make the actuators for the windows break much faster than if only done when the car is actually started.

Did you prefer the c70 or this? I mean as a whole. I know this is more powerful and lighter but I don't mind that.

It's a 4 seater, however the 2 back seaters must be either 2 small to preteens or 2 small and or petite adults to fit moderately comfortably.

is the top hydraulic or electric only? slk 230 was hydraulic and wore out too often and not cheap to fix

Nice convertible.That VW/AUDI 2.0 TFSI engine is fantastic.

the gti does have dual zone climate control...but not in the US. In Canada they do :)

I think you should mention driving with top down, and if you could have driven it top down, it would be very nice to see.(I'm aware some tripod and camera problems may be seen because of the wind noise)
