Serious Question - How do spy tools track live sales / overall sales of shopify stores?
I heard they use json trick where you go and write product.json after url of storre and its supposed to update inventory when order is placed giving you live sales info. However, i doubt it works. You can try it it doesnt work

So it got me wondering how spy tools are able to provide such data? Yes its not 100% correct but still pretty close
