Mohnish Pabrai emphasizes the importance of focused investing, advocating for a concentrated stock portfolio rather than diversifying excessively. He suggests investing in a limited number of high-quality companies that are deeply understood and undervalued, ensuring each investment has a significant impact on the portfolio's performance. Pabrai advises following Warren Buffett's principles, such as maintaining a long-term perspective and being patient for the right opportunities. He also highlights the significance of staying within one's circle of competence, investing only in industries and businesses that are well understood.

I'm from London, I remember when the Indians came here in the 70s, they immediately opened shops, started the rag trade (clothing production) and used their skills, doctor's, dentists etc. They have done very well in the UK as immigrants.

convinced that investing $50k-100k in the right company before it goes big is better than just saving for retirement. But since picking the right company is hard, saving might be safer—who would’ve guessed SPGI? I have $200k in a HYSA and want to invest. What are the best opportunities now?

I am at the beginning of my "investment journey", planning to put 85K into dividend stocks so that I will be making up to 30% per year in dividend returns. Any advice?

I've heard the stock market often does well during election years. I recently inherited a lump sum and want to invest it wisely to take advantage of this potential upswing. Do you have any tips or strategies?

Solid advice on risk management and letting your winners run. I’ve been applying a similar strategy in my investments, especially with my crypto IRA on My Digital Money. Anyone else here using a concentrated approach in their crypto portfolio?

At 35 minute mark, Manish says he never visit any plant or talk to management. But when he was referring to Indian electricity company, according to him he went to see their plant in New Delhi and everybody seemed not working at all. Same thing was said about American Tower. Which is correct? He won't visit plants or he does? Thanks.
