You should be able to hook the Twitch up to your computer and have audio coming out of your computer speakers. Check the output routing within your DJ software and make sure it is set up properly.

The Novation Twitch has a 1/4" and 1/8" jack for headphones located on the front of the unit so your Beats by Dre will connect just fine.

It works with Mac and PC but make sure you check the system requirements for running Serato Itch on a PC. The Serato website can give you that information.

You need to own a Scratch Live device in order to use the program. Twitch wil not work with Scratch Live for audio. It will work as a regular MIDI controller but you need one of the Scratch Live sound card boxes, or Rane mixers, in order to use Scratch Live.

The Novation Twitch does not act as a standalone mixer. You will need your computer up and running for it to be functional. Bring an iPod backup if you are worried about laptop malfunctions.

You do not need a soundcard with the Novation Twitch. The soundcard is built in to this controller.

Sorry, couldn't reply earlier.

The problem has been resolved, for some reason, while I was on "centre waveform preview", they were missing completely even after a couple of reboots and plugging the controller on/off, but it's okay now after I've switched to the left side preview. Thanks for replying!

I bought my twitch about a year ago and I was pretty much a beginner.. played a little on tables like 10 years ago.. But i gotta say i love my Twitch!! great for beginners.. great on portability/function/price.. i had no issues when I played at a bar the other night.. and it can do so damn much!! for me it seems like a beginner through intermediate controller.. but i haven't used anything else.. hope that helps! I recommend it for sure!

This is a step up in eqip. I don't know why they use job wheels that take 1/4 the space on the controller. It's just for personal show and not recording.
