Hawaii Volcano Eruption Update - Saturday Evening (May 19, 2018)

My friend from HIlo is volunteering at one of the shelters along with her husband. Said people need perosnal items and really need baby diapers. Getting very stressful for these people in the shelter, their pets can come along but are caged, just wearing down their Aloha. Can't blame them, it must be so hard to know you can't go home again.

People who bought and build a house in that area, are aware they choose for a life in a high risk volcano zone with a possibility existing to lose their house in a month, year or decade(s) due to a lava flow.
But that does not mean it makes it easier on loosing your properties.

This is crazy! I’ve been to all these places.... The last time I was there, the activities were almost nonexistent..., there was even a rainbow over the crater of the volcano... I miss Hawai’i so much!!! Hopefully, I get to go back in March... 😍🤙🏻
