That's a tight stop loss right at the beginning of the day. If you invested $5, 000 with that stop loss, you could have lost about $598 so quickly, and I suspect you're also using margin, right? How often do you get stopped out with this pattern at the opening? Most stocks with your rules will recover within a day or two, usually. Why not make a larger stop loss and wait it out if it goes down? I certainly don't know the answer to that, which is why I'm asking you.

Love this pattern in momentum trading easy to set stop loss and profit target works good on break outs and downs too just needs volume and key s/r levels to work, thanks for the video

Ok this is interesting because this is StockJock’s main pattern he uses (he calls it 1min Candle Over Candle play) (he ‘s up $1.6M on the year, he’s a good trader). HOWEVER, his target is high of the previous run, so much smaller than yours. & stop loss is low of the previous candle or if it does not go after a few seconds. How did you develop the target of 2R?
