About 10 years ago, I ran a small body armor company. We imported all of our armor from China, as it was only a fraction of the cost of US-made body armor. Was it as good as NIJ-certified armor? Not normally. Some types could be, but most often the Chinese companies skimped on how many layers of fabric they added to things, so it generally ended up testing about one level below what they stated it was. That being said, most of it was still perfectly serviceable. They were fully capable of making both Level 3 and Level 4 plates that would pass NIJ testing. And even the plates that "failed" testing at NIJ certified ballistic labs would still stop 5.56 and 7.62x51 NATO rounds. They would just exceed the deformation limits on the rear of the plates. Adding a panel of soft armor behind them would boost them up over the deformation threshold. So while they may be sending/selling cheap armor to Russia, never assume it won't work. We emptied a full 30 round magazine of NATO-standard SS109 rounds from a 20 inch barrel into one of their Level 3 plates that failed to meet NIJ standards from 10 feet away, and had zero penetrations. Same thing with M193 rounds (on a different plate). Yes, the plates were trashed. But nothing got through. We stopped selling it mostly because we got sick and tired of having to have each batch tested when it arrived to actually find out what it was rated for. Their business ethics may suck, but they can produce simple things like body armor in large quantities, for a fraction of what it would cost a Western nation to make it. Even if it only stops a few rounds before needing to be replaced, that can make a huge difference. Especially when the alternative is no armor at all, as we have seen in many of these videos.

a half hour segment out of 3 minutes of phone conversation !! The best stretch ever.

I am here in Saudi Arabia, I share your site with a lot of people here, they all truly appreciate it. But, with this said, it's sad to see all these young men and women die on each side, we all have young ones and families. Same for innocent civilians. But this opens everyone eyes to reality. Thank you for your hard work.

Paul, I'm a Registered Nurse with 18+ years' experience. A stent is merely a tube placed around a blockage of any sort, not just for heart attacks. You can have stents placed in your liver, heart, kidney's, your legs or anywhere you can develop a blockage.

"Russian Conscripts have no Tanks, IFV's, or Artillery." Only shovels and flying washing machines 🤣🤣 heard more than once. But these must be quite effective, as we see

"Our victorious troops are re-deploying to prepared positions, while our cowardly and degenerate enemies are advancing in utter disorder." Sounds familiar.

A friend who retired from USAF has a perfect outline scar on her neck from a .223 casing. Jammed in yearly qualification, cleared the jam, jumped into collar.

Its impossible to gaurantee just how genuine these 'interceptions' everything with a pinch of salt.

1:04 Agreed, I've never done any military service myself, but I did train as an apprentice fitter and machinist in my dad's workshop, and in a situation where you're working in a workshop and have to be situationally aware 100% all of the time, for Occupational Health & Safety reasons, having alcohol in your system is a bad idea, alcohol is both a depressant and a poison, it has a depressant effect on brain functioning.

Being an old liberal, I think anyone who served in hazardous areas should have ALL their medical needs covered for the rest of their lives. Senators can make millions of dollars by using inside information to buy and sell stocks but people who risk their lives for this country have to beg to get the smallest amount of care. No, I never served because they stopped the draft just as I graduated from high school but I, unlike lawmakers, respect soldiers.

I am so thankful for my VA disability compensation. I'm rated 120% and it just pays for rent and food and I would be destitute without it, thank you so much for talking about it, I had no idea it even existed when I was serving until one of my squad mates told me exactly what to do.

The sad truth is that the VA doesn't want to pay you and will do whatever they can to deny or lower your compensation. If you want fair compensation, you have to game the system a little bit, if you don't they will game you.

I was full of an indescribable fury whenever my unit took casualties. My only desire was to inflict revenge 100 fold. But in a counter insurgency, that sort of thing is incredibly self defeating, the population already dislikes you, revenge killings would make them hate you so badly that they would be happy to die if it meant killing you and you can't win a fight with people who have that sort of motivation.

In the German Army (while deployed in a base, in your off time, not on a mission in a hot zone) you are generally allowed 2 beers in the evening. As some guys noted, it was a hot commodity in Afghanistan when dealing with US troops and other "dry" nations, getting some favors, information etc. :)

What I'll never understand is if I see an ad for Brawny paper towels before some random video, I'm not all up in arms saying "Brawny must support the ideas in this video!" It's just a preroll ad. Who are these people thinking companies are hand selecting which video to have ads on?

I enjoyed your rant and I wish more people had this attitude. It infuriates me when I see vets at the grocery store collecting donations for disabled or homeless vets. They shouldn’t have to rely on charity. It is the job of our government to take are of people.

Why would they need tanks? Don't you remember, they have shovels.
