I gave ALittle Something different 3.5 stars. It was super cute and I loved be multiple perspectives but I wish we would’ve gotten Lea and Gabes too because the way it’s told sort of leaves you on the periphery.

I love the idea of a first chapter dip into a lot of books. I have The Little Paris Bookshop and The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend on my Kindle, and now I am also intrigued by A Little Something Different.

I read Sandy Hall’s other book in a try a chapter and it was the first one I continued and finished. Her writing is just really easy to read. But ultimately it was an average book overall. I don’t regret reading it because sometimes you just need an easy, fast little romance.

Really enjoyed this video!! Many years ago I started reading all the Jennifer Chiaverini "quilt" books. They were GREAT! You must start at the beginning, though. It's set in Ohio and you get to know this group of women of all ages who have one thing in common, they love to quilt. It's such a wonderful series and some of it is set in modern day, some of it becomes Historical as the author takes us back to the first inhabitants of the gorgeous old house where they hold the Elm Creek Quilt Camp - Elm Creek Manor. Just delightful!!

I gave readers of broken wheel 3 stars. It felt to me a lot like a Fanny flag book where it’s very slow and tangent based and the town is its own character. I’d guess you’d like it more than me but idk if you’d love it. You loved Geurnsey right?

I LOVE try-a-chapters. I recently did one too and loved getting a taste for the books. I just unhauled Little Paris Bookshop but I haven’t actually got rid of it so if you end up loving it, I might redeem it! 👀☺️

I'm eager to here our thoughts especially on A Little Something Different and The Readers of Broken Wheel Recommend. I read The Miniaturist a few years ago and was not a fan. I liked the writing and was intrigued by the story but really didn't like the direction she ended up taking it.
