Reviewing the weirdest smart watch we've ever tested

The Nubia Alpha wearable smartphone is one of the weirdest things I've ever tested. Its defining feature is a 4-inch flexible display that fits around your wrist. As easy as it would be to laugh at the watch, there are a bunch of design features Nubia got right in theory, despite missing on the execution.

The idea is neat but the execution is poor. They should've removed the camera. It's useless and would've made the device a bit more slim

Its a nice thought to have some of the screens on the inside of the wrist but that would make it much more breakable. Just keep it as it is, but minus the top view of the screen. This is definitely Alpha tech, hopefully, Nubia or a smarter company "CAUGH" Samsung or Google, will make something like this but better. Good concept though.

My piece of advice for the company developing that thing: You should immediately fire the person who designed the "I know" button (3:15). He or she managed to somehow "sleep" through a few decades of evolution of GUIs - It's unacceptable. Then start addressing all the problems and bugs.

This is why I only buy large company flagship devices. I love the idea and it even looks aesthetically pleasing (Batman squad), but it's like smallish chinese companies invest all their money in innovation and design but don't have enough left over for consumer beta testing.
