Nobody, absolutely nobody has a good reason to be against the tax reform bill. It is simply that some states have reduced themselves to dependents and don't want to dislodge from that position.

This bill is beyond VAT and derivation talk.

Nigerians, read and be educated.

Those opposed to the bill in its current state are smart.

I have a critical concern about TETFUND being phased.

Oyedele could not defend PROPERLY why TETFUND will be phased in 2029.

That they will replace the levies on compnanes with budgetary allocations is a joke.

Was there no budget for universities before the levies were introduced?

Look at our budgetary allocation to the education sector, and then you know that we are not serious.

TETFUND has helped to build critical infrastructure for many universities in Nigeria.

It has to be left out of this bogus tax bill.

And if you want to exempt workers from taxes, then raise the threshold to 1.5 to 2 million Naira yearly income, NOT 800k a year .

The bills must be scrutinised and sensitive parts removed.
