Should Vegans Eat at Honest Burgers?

Welcome back, we are The Vegan Diners. On a recent whistle stop trip to London we visited burger chain, Honest Burger. They have around 30 restaurants in London and used to have an exclusively plant based restaurant, however this has since closed.
Their menu consists of you guest it, Burgers. As a non-Vegan restaurant there are alot of animal products on the menu but they do serve two Vegan Burgers using Beyond Meat patties. The Plant and the Bacon Plant 2.0
I started with a cold Orbit IVO, a Southwark IPA, which has a smooth, yet tangy, hoppy flavour.
I then chose the Bacon Plant Burger 2.0. This was really delicious, with lots of vegan cheese and vegan chipotle may, which punched quite a kick, all served on a brioche bun. The burger came with a choice of either their signature rosemary fries or a side salad. I decided to have both!
The fries were really good, with a salty, faintly herby seasoning. As for the salad, I was really surprised as it came with vegan ranch dressing and crispy onions on top, and was quite tasty.
The burger was great, however there are probably better places for Vegans to eat in London, however if dining with non-Vegan’s then this is a solid option to get your burger fix.
Until next time. Happy Vegan dining.
