NINJA ORCHIDS ROOT GRADE SCALE: 1-10! 1 being fine rooted orchids like the Dendrobium unicum and 10 being Cymbidium size roots. There will be a lot of reference to NORGS when I work with The Michael Mounts and The Ninja Mounts. The evolution is a continuous process, but in order to actually determine what works... LET'S GO FOR A TEST DRIVE! 4 candidates are up for it, and so am I!
I really appreciate the fact that you took the time to watch my video. I am very open to any comments or questions, this video may have brought up. Feel free to ask away and know that I will get back to you as soon as possible! Also, if you have any suggestions that you would like me to address in a video, mention them in the comments below and I will be happy to film a personalized video under the series 'Subscribers Inspire'!

Very interesting, Nina. I will be interested to follow the experiment.

I see a name tag floating in the bowl of RO water. Love your notes to self. By putting the roots under the plastic also gives it some secure part of the mount. Have a great day and thank you for giving us some other ideas to mount orchids.

Hi Nina! 🌸 They all look so happy on their new ‘digs’ and struttin’ their fancy silver cord. I loved seeing your steps and thoughts. Thank you for taking us along. 💕 Have a great evening! 🌸

As you experiment with new materials, I'm back to trying an old one, one that everyone seems to despise, one that I tried in the past with very poor results, coconut husk chips. I know they aren't for you because they are organic, but organic materials just work well for me and inorganic doesn't. My go to is always Orchiata, I think it is the best general purpose organic medium for orchids and worth every penny. But you know how it is, always wondering if certain orchids might grow better in something else. Early results are encouraging, we'll see how it compares to Orchiata long term. Certainly cheaper, by a third!

Olá, bom dia amiga querida🦒🦒 !!! Try and error, you will get there eventually but the way plants react to it will give you the signs. I feel pretty enthusuastic about it. I remove sphagnum from the mounts coming winter and they stay root-naked till spring but I do not have as many mounts now. For instance, my nobiles are doing much better in my mesh pots. I am liking it too because humidity stays longer. Changing moss is a pain, after a month the surface of moss is dark and slimey, absolutely disgusting 😠
Great project, I wish you all the luck, fingers crossed 🤞🤞
Have a great day my lovely friend 😍🤗

Hi sweet lady!!! 🏝🌤🏝 Good Morning!!! Its 7:45 am here. I also like trying new things mainly because ordinary for an orchid is so dull. I saw this clay hanging cones (with holes) used in USA and thought, Sri Lankans are great at carvings and making anything, so why not get it custom made here for the first time!! 🎆🎇🎆🎇And now I just mount them inside the cone with a zip/cable tie. Natalia does this all the time in her channel!! Bless her!! She inspired me!! As Florida weather is kind of same as here, I didnt worry too much. I WATCH ALL YOUR 🔔🎬🎥📽 & 💚💜them!!!

Very interesting Ninja mounts! Very curious to see how the plants do. I’m holding off on mounting my unicum because I found out she is heavily infested with spider mites!!! 🙄 so annoyed!
You’ve got my mind going though with these Ninja

So what are those plastic bases, and where did you get them? Also tell us please about the fabric.
